Abstract

The HXGN-12 series high-voltage switchgear is widely used in indoor power distribution systems with three-phase AC 50Hz and rated voltage of 12kV and below. The following is a detailed introduction:

HXGN-12 High-Voltage Switchgear Applications and Scope

Widely used in load centers of urban residential areas, high-rise buildings, large public buildings, factories and enterprises, as well as in container substations. It serves as ring network power supply and terminal distribution equipment, used for receiving, distributing electricity, and controlling, protecting, and monitoring the power supply system and load.
Suitable for power distribution systems in industrial and mining enterprises, residential areas, high-rise buildings, schools, parks, etc. It can switch on or off the rated load current and transformer no-load current, and can switch on or off the capacitive current of overhead lines, cable lines, or capacitor banks within a certain distance.

HXGN-12 High-Voltage Switchgear Normal Operating Conditions

* Ambient temperature: Upper limit +40℃, lower limit -25℃, average temperature difference within 24h does not exceed 35℃.
* Altitude: 1000m and below. If the altitude is higher than 1000m, the rated insulation level should be adjusted accordingly.
* Ambient humidity: Monthly average value not exceeding 95%, daily average value not exceeding 2.2kPa; monthly average value not exceeding 90%, monthly average water vapor pressure not exceeding 1.8kPa.
* Installation location: Places without obvious pollution such as flammable and explosive materials and chemical corrosion, and without strong vibrations.

HXGN-12 High-Voltage Switchgear Structural Features

Cabinet structure: The cabinet's external dimensions are typically 2000mm high, 700mm or 900mm wide, and 900mm deep. The shell is made of 2mm thick aluminum-zinc plated steel, processed by CNC machine tools and assembled, reaching an IP3X protection level. A pressure relief vent is provided at the rear of the cabinet. The busbar compartment is located at the top and connects adjacent switchgears. The load switch compartment is an independent unit, filled with SF6 gas, etc. The cable compartment is mainly used for cable connections. The mechanism compartment contains the operating mechanism, mechanical interlocks, and position indicators.
Insulation structure: There are various forms, including air insulation and SF6 gas insulation. Air-insulated switchgear optimizes the insulation structure, ensuring that the air gap between all live parts and ground inside the cabinet is ≥125mm, and the creepage distance of the insulation components meets national standards. SF6 gas-insulated switchgear completely seals the load switch, vacuum circuit breaker, and energized busbars in a closed stainless steel container filled with a certain pressure, forming a fully insulated and enclosed structure, effectively preventing floods, condensation, and pollution, suitable for various harsh environments.
Operating mechanism: Load switches are operated by electromagnets and electric spring mechanisms. Ground switches and isolators are equipped with manual operating mechanisms. The spring-energy operating mechanism ensures that the switching speed is not affected by human factors. It can also be equipped with an electromagnetic mechanism, meeting national standards, and is simple and easy to operate.

Reliable performance: High insulation level, IP2X protection level, with vacuum circuit breaker input and output line options, meeting the needs of large system short-circuit capacity, and equipped with reliable intelligent protection devices to ensure the realization of various protection functions.
Safe and convenient: The load switch has a static contact insulation cover to prevent arc short-circuit accidents inside the cabinet. The insulation cover also has a removable metal door. When the grounding switch is closed, the metal door closes simultaneously, ensuring the personal safety of personnel performing maintenance, replacement of fuses, etc. The entire cabinet is oil-free and non-toxic, preventing fire and explosion hazards.
Long service life, low maintenance: Long service life, low maintenance workload, and convenient maintenance.
Strong overload breaking capacity: With phase-failure protection function, easily breaking 2000A transfer current.
Good scalability: The cabinet structure is stable and reliable, the combination is flexible and simple, with good systematization and universality. It can be combined into any primary wiring method according to user requirements.
