However, with the increasing speed of wiring in distribution network systems, more and more cables need to be installed in cable boxes, and a single cable box is clearly insufficient. Therefore, when independent loads are concentrated, more branch boxes are needed to share the load. So, what are the preparatory procedures before installing a cable branch box?

I. Preparation work for cable branch box installation:

2. Foundation construction for the cable branch box, foundation requirements: The foundation must conform to the drawings, with a plane size deviation of no more than 20MM, a horizontal deviation of no more than 10MM, and a vertical deviation of no more than 5MM.

3. Determine the installation personnel based on the content of this work, organize learning guidance, and require all personnel to clearly understand the work content, progress requirements, operational standards, and safety precautions.

II. Requirements for personnel operating the installation of cable branch boxes:

1. On-site operators should be in good physical condition and mental state.

2. All staff must possess necessary electrical knowledge, master professional operating skills, and have knowledge of the "State Grid Corporation Power Safety Work Regulations," passing examinations.

3. Special personnel must hold relevant certificates.

III. Analysis of danger points during cable branch box installation and safety control measures:

Before work begins, staff should carefully check safety measures around the lines and cable heads, install bottom lines after discharging each phase of the cable head, and check whether mobile electrical equipment is improperly grounded or not grounded at all.

2. Accidental injuries to personnel

When cables enter protective pipes, construction personnel's arms should maintain a certain distance from the pipe opening, and operators should keep a safe distance from excavators. Operators should be cautious to avoid tripping over underground obstacles and should not point cable knives at people while using them.
