Abstract

The distribution box is divided into three types: primary distribution box, secondary distribution box, and tertiary distribution box.

When a construction site needs electricity, a temporary substation is set up to provide electrical equipment, which is then distributed to various power usage sites through distribution boxes at different levels. This is called temporary electricity usage.

Distribution boxes are divided into three types: Level 1 distribution box, Level 2 distribution box, and Level 3 distribution box.

1. Level 1Distribution Box

Level 1 distribution box: The electrical distribution cabinet for construction site use is specifically designed to meet the special conditions of construction sites in accordance with the relevant electrical usage standards set by construction departments.


The complete set of products can form a complete three-level protection system for construction electricity usage, achieving the goal of one machine, one switch, and one protection, making it very suitable for various compliant projects. The Level 1 cabinet uses bottom entry and bottom exit lines, with a front-opening door. The main busbar is connected with copper bars for good contact, includes a metering system, is safe and aesthetically pleasing, and has a rainproof top suitable for outdoor work.

2. Level 2Distribution Box

Suitable for construction site electricity usage, specifically designed to meet the special conditions of construction sites in accordance with the relevant electrical usage standards set by construction departments.

The complete set of products can form a complete three-level protection system for construction electricity usage, achieving the goal of one machine, one switch, and one protection. The Level 2 box features an inner and outer door design, with a spray-painted exterior that is safe and aesthetically pleasing, and has a rainproof top suitable for outdoor work.

Note: The Level 2 distribution box should be placed 1.5M off the ground.

Main appliances include refrigerator, induction cooker, microwave oven.
The air conditioner switch needs to be replaced, and the main switch also needs to be replaced.
The main switch does not need to have leakage protection. It is best for branch switches to have leakage protection because passing through 30mA can be fatal. The action current of the leakage switch is between 15-30mA.
Currently, the distribution lines in the city are generally 4 square millimeters, with some already using up to 6 square millimeters. It is best to replace the ones that are 2.5 square millimeters.


3. Level 3Distribution Box

Level 3 distribution: This means that a distribution box is set up under the main distribution box, with a switch box under the distribution box and electrical equipment under the switch box, forming a three-level distribution system.

"Two-level protection" mainly refers to using leakage protection measures. In addition to installing a leakage protector in the final switch box, a primary leakage protector should also be installed in the upper-level distribution box or main distribution box, forming an overall two-level protection system.

"One machine, one switch, one leak, one box, one lock" principle means that it is strictly prohibited for the same switch device to directly control two or more electrical devices (including sockets).

 

Distribution BoxDifferences between Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3:

1. Level 1 distribution box: This brings in three-phase power from the transformer along with ground wire and neutral wire.
2. Level 2 distribution box: This runs from the power line of the Level 1 distribution box to near the power usage point.
3. Level 3 distribution box: This refers to the control cabinet of the electrical equipment itself.
In large distribution systems, in order to ensure electrical safety and facilitate maintenance, power supply is conducted in graded levels.
