Also, strictly seal the cable entry holes and cable holes, using waterproof sealing materials such as fire clay and sealant to block them.
Set up a drainage system: Set up drainage ditches or pipes around the switchgear base to ensure that rainwater can drain away quickly, preventing water accumulation. Also, check the connection of electrical components inside the cabinet to ensure that the connections are firm and reliable, avoiding electrical sparks due to poor contact and causing electrical faults.
Monitor temperature and humidity: Install temperature and humidity sensors to monitor the temperature and humidity changes inside the switchgear in real-time so that appropriate measures can be taken for adjustments. When the humidity approaches the set threshold, automatically start the dehumidification equipment to ensure that the humidity inside the cabinet is always maintained within a safe range.
Repair damaged parts promptly: If any parts of the switchgear are found to be damaged, such as cabinet door deformation, damaged sealing strips, blocked drainage holes, etc., they should be repaired or replaced promptly to prevent moisture from entering the cabinet due to these problems.
