Abstract

The low-voltage cable branch box is made of SMC composite material (sheet molding compound) through high-temperature molding, featuring lightweight, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, good sealing performance, safety and aesthetics, and all-weather protection capabilities, meeting the requirements of outdoor engineering projects. It addresses the needs of various harsh environments and locations, overcoming the disadvantages of outdoor metal cable branch boxes such as corrosion, short lifespan, and poor thermal insulation. This new type of box uses SMC composite material based on unsaturated polyester resin with fiberglass as the framework, adding fillers, pigments, and additives. SMC materials have high mechanical strength, lightweight, corrosion resistance, long service life, high insulation strength, arc resistance, and flame retardancy.

Corrosion-resistant, aging-resistant, strong strength, long lifespan: The box material is SMC (glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester plastic) formed at high temperatures, featuring excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, aging resistance, etc., capable of withstanding severe climate changes and harsh working environments with a service life of over 20 years.

2. Good weather resistance: The box has good thermal insulation performance and can effectively prevent moisture condensation.

3. Safe and reliable: The door uses a three-point locking structure with strong anti-theft performance.

The surface of the low voltage cable branch box is flat and smooth with uniform color, not easily scratched, has good sealing performance, is safe and reliable, and easy to use; the box can be opened from the front or back according to customer requirements for convenient operation and maintenance. The door uses a three-point positioning lock with waterproof protection for the lock cylinder and employs a recessed edge sealing strip for effective sealing to prevent rainwater intrusion and provide all-weather protection; the door features full-length vertical hinges that are not easily deformed and have good installation interchangeability; it can be equipped with SF6 ring network load switches to meet local power outage maintenance requirements without affecting the main network operation, achieving regional power outage maintenance and reducing the scope of power outages.
