Abstract
Box-type substationIt is a commonly used safe power supply device, and installation will be arranged after purchase. However, the installation methods vary for different models, so let's understand them below.
(1) The floor of the box-type substation should be placed at a higher location and not in low-lying areas to prevent rainwater from entering the box and affecting the operation of the equipment. When pouring the concrete platform, leave gaps on the high and low voltage sides for cable entry and exit. When excavating the foundation, if encountering ground formed by garbage or film accumulation, solid soil must be excavated first, then backfilled and compacted with better soil quality, followed by filling with a mixture of sand and gravel to ensure a stable foundation.
(2) The grounding of the box-type substation shares a grounding network with the neutral line. The grounding network is generally connected at the four corners of the foundation and then connected into a whole. There must be two reliable connections between the box-type substation and the grounding network. After the box-type substation is in operation, regularly check whether the grounding connections are loose or rusty, and periodically measure the grounding resistance value, which should not exceed 4Ω.
(3) The box-type substation mainly uses natural air circulation for cooling. Therefore, illegal stacking is not allowed around it, especially the transformer room door must not be blocked, and attachments on louvered vents should be regularly cleared to ensure that all electrical equipment does not exceed the maximum allowable temperature.
(4) After the low-voltage circuit breaker trips, the cause of tripping should be checked before trial delivery. If transmission is unsuccessful, the fault must be thoroughly investigated before power transmission can occur to prevent accidents from escalating.
(5) Zinc oxide surge arresters should be installed in the high-voltage distribution room of the box-type transformer, and the installation method must facilitate testing and replacement.
(6) Equipment such as ring main units, transformers, and surge arresters in high-voltage distribution devices should be regularly inspected and maintained. Defects should be repaired promptly, and regular insulation preventive tests should be conducted. If a box-type substation has been out of operation for more than three months, comprehensive preventive tests should be conducted before it is put back into operation.
(7) When replacing high-voltage fuses without breaking capacity, the transformer must be powered off. During operation, mechanical interlock devices must be correctly released, and insulated operating rods should be used.
(8) All cable holes in the box-type substation should be sealed to prevent small animals from entering and causing accidents.
(9) There must be high-voltage hazard warning signs and electrical equipment nameplate numbers.
Different types of box-type substation equipment should also be installed according to environmental and other conditions. We are installing equipment so that we can operate and use it according to requirements during use.
