Abstract
Lighting distribution boxThe equipment is responsible for controlling, protecting, converting, and distributing electrical energy at the end of the low-voltage power supply system. What should be noted when installing this lighting distribution box? Let me discuss it.
(1) The air switch inside the lighting distribution box is generally assembled by professionals according to the owner's requirements. When closed, the air switch should be installed according to the principle of operating upwards, and the spare position should be sealed with special insulating materials.
(2) To save costs, a 1p air switch can be used for lighting or socket circuits, but the load current of each single-phase branch must not exceed 16A, the number of lamps in each single-phase branch must not exceed 25, and the number of sockets in each single-phase branch must not exceed 10; if lamps and sockets are mixed in one circuit, the number of sockets should not exceed 5.
(3) The neutral line and protective grounding line should be connected to the busbar terminal and must not be mixed. The wire diameter should meet the requirements.
(4) The colors of the phase line, neutral line, and protective grounding line of the lighting distribution box should meet the requirements. The phase colors for L1, L2, L3 are yellow, green, and red; the neutral line is blue; and the ground line is yellow-green.
(5) The installation height should be considered comprehensively based on factors such as usage scenarios and ease of operation and maintenance. The height from the bottom edge of the lighting distribution box to the ground is generally 1.5m.
(6) The installation site should avoid dampness, direct sunlight, and corrosive places to prevent insulation from aging too quickly.
(7) The lighting distribution box should be fixed securely in a horizontal position. Before officially putting it into operation, each internal terminal should be checked for tightness.
(8) The names of the power supply lines should be clearly written on the distribution box through labels or markings for easy control and inspection of each line.
The above content outlines precautions when installing a lighting distribution box. All buildings that require lighting facilities need to install distribution boxes, so extra care should be taken during installation.
