1. Components of the PLC control cabinet:
1: Air switch: A general air switch, which is the power control for the entire cabinet. I believe every cabinet needs such a device.
2: PLC: Should be selected based on project needs. For example, if the project is small, it can be used directly as an integrated PLC, but if the project is relatively large, modules and card types may be needed, and redundancy may also be required; in other words, these two sets of equipment are used alternately.
3: 24VDC power supply: 24VDC switching power supply. Most PLCs have their own 24VDC power supply. Whether to use this switching power supply depends on whether it is really needed.
4: Relay: Generally, the PLC can send commands directly to the control circuit, but it can also input through a relay first. For example, if the output port of the PLC charges to 24VDC, but the node drawn in the control circuit requires 220VAC provided by the PLC, a relay needs to be added to the output port of the PLC; that is, when issuing a command, the relay acts, and then the node of the control circuit connects to the normally open or normally closed point of the relay. Whether to use a relay is also chosen based on the situation.
5: Terminal block: This is essential for every cabinet. It can be configured according to the number of signals. If it is just a simple Hunan PLC control cabinet, these items are basically needed. If other items are needed in the control cabinet, it depends on specific circumstances. For example, it may be necessary to power some field instruments or small control boxes, and it may be necessary to increase the number of air switches. Alternatively, if you want to connect the PLC to a host computer, you may need to add switches or other items. It depends on the situation.
2. Application fields of PLC:
Typical applications: water treatment, constant pressure water supply, air compressors, fans and pumps, air conditioning, port machinery, machine tools, boilers, papermaking machinery, food machinery, etc.
3. Introduction to PLC control cabinets:
PLC control cabinets have protection functions such as overload, short circuit, and phase loss protection. They have advantages such as compact structure, stable operation, and complete functions. They can be combined according to actual control scale and can achieve automatic control of single cabinets or multi-cabinet power distribution through industrial Ethernet or industrial field bus networks; DSC control system. PLC control cabinets can adapt to various sizes and scales of industrial automation control occasions.
