Abstract
PLC control cabinetIt refers to a programmable control cabinet, and the control cabinet refers to a set of control cabinets that can control motors and switches. The PLC control cabinet has functions such as overload protection, short circuit protection, and phase loss protection.
The PLC control cabinet is an electronic device that requires regular maintenance, but how should it be maintained? Let's take a look.
1. Backup data
When maintaining the PLC control cabinet, it is essential to cut off the power supply. Data backup before power outage is an important step. If data needs to be archived for a long time, historical trend data can be backed up to a removable hard drive, and then the Windows operating system should be shut down (make sure to save), recording the internal parameters of the controller.
2. Power off
After completing the backup work, all protective switches of the subordinate controllers should be disconnected first, then disconnect the main switch, and finally reconnect the switch. When turning on the power, the operation sequence is reversed. It is recommended to install a safety lock to prevent accidental power outages and dangerous incidents.
3. Appearance and environmental inspection
Observe whether the temperature and humidity of the surrounding environment are reasonable, whether there is a lot of dust on the components, and test whether the system has insulation by using a megohmmeter to test the insulation performance of the equipment.
4. Clean the PLC control cabinet
Before cleaning, cover the electronic components with heat dissipation holes on the PLC and inverter to prevent dust from entering and affecting component operation. Only a vacuum cleaner should be used; compressed air should not be used because it may blow dust and vapor into the components, causing short circuits.
5. Check if the wiring is loose
Checking for loose wiring is very important. Once the wiring is loose, the controller may not work properly due to poor contact, and the wiring can easily burn out.
6. Component inspection
Confirm whether the PLC control cabinet can work normally; if damaged, it must be replaced in time.
The PLC control cabinet has a compact structure, complete functions, and stable operation. It can achieve automatic control of a single cabinet based on actual control scale or form a distributed control system through industrial Ethernet or industrial fieldbus networks. The PLC control cabinet can adapt to various industrial automation control occasions of different scales. It is widely used in industries such as electric power, metallurgy, chemical engineering, papermaking, and environmental wastewater treatment.
