Abstract
On the morning of April 2, the Liuyang High-tech Zone held the 2019 Annual Safety Production and Environmental Protection Work Conference. The meeting reviewed and summarized the safety and environmental protection work of the park in 2018, arranged key work tasks for 2019, and commended a number of advanced units and individuals in safety production and environmental protection work. Zhao Zhiwu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the park, attended the meeting, along with heads of member units of the park's Safety Committee and Environmental Committee, as well as over 180 main responsible persons for safety and environmental protection from various enterprises.
Safety Production Work
In 2018, the park took proactive measures to fully implement the "Party and Government Share Responsibility, Dual Responsibilities for One Position" in safety production. Departments worked together regularly, work systems were further improved and standardized, corporate main responsibilities were tightened and enforced, safety education and training were carried out in depth, and various work results were significant, with an overall stable safety production situation throughout the year.
Life is paramount, safety comes first. In 2019, the park will focus on resolutely preventing safety production accidents, relying on a strict responsibility system and stringent legal measures to continuously enhance the intrinsic safety level of enterprises, striving to achieve a zero-accident goal in safety production and ensuring that the safety production situation continues to improve.
Environmental Protection Work
In 2018, the park adhered to Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought as guidance, earnestly implemented the central and provincial municipal requirements for strengthening ecological environmental protection, broke through with innovative mechanisms and systems, focused on strengthening comprehensive governance, and made every effort to build an environmental management network. Significant achievements were made in various aspects of ecological environmental protection work.
Green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver. In 2019, the park will continue to consolidate the achievements of the "Blue Sky and Clear Water Defense Battle," increase efforts in environmental protection publicity, accelerate the rectification of environmental protection facilities, speed up infrastructure construction, strengthen environmental protection team building, and promote ecological civilization construction in the park to a new level.
