Abstract
Step 1: To prevent short circuits and explosions, immediate power cut measures should be taken, and a dedicated person should be assigned to guard the site after the power is cut. Note: Do not cut off the power with your hands; use an insulated rod or dry wood, wear insulated gloves, as electric arcs from distribution equipment may cause electric shock accidents.
Step 2: Organize personnel to drain water as soon as possible. Note: Personnel entering the equipment site must be equipped with insulated gloves and insulated shoes, use insulated tools to cut off the power, and report to the unit leader or relevant equipment person in charge in a timely manner. Special attention should be paid to personal safety during the rescue process, strictly controlling personnel entry and exit, and not casually opening external doors of the equipment, hanging signs, or pulling caution lines to take safety measures.
Step 3:Box-type substationAfter draining the box-type substation or distribution room, the equipment should not be rushed to resume operation. The main power switch should be dried, and sufficient ventilation, drying, and dehumidification measures should be taken.
Step 4: Arrange technical personnel for electrical equipment to inspect the water-infiltrated power supply equipment. Perform insulation tests on high-voltage switchgear, low-voltage distribution cabinets, transformers, cables, and other power supply equipment. Normal power transmission can resume once no short circuit faults or hidden dangers are detected.
Step 5: If water enters the high-voltage switchgear and low-voltage switchgear, connect each electrical switch, line, and other components with a dry hot air duct box to ensure that each component is dry and balanced. After testing the switches, attach one to each and test for switch damage.
Remember: A box-type substation with internal pure short circuits cannot resume operation. Forcing power supply will nullify our previous efforts and endanger the safe operation of the upper-level power grid. Therefore, it is essential to strictly follow the above five steps one by one. After testing is completed, normal power supply can be restored.
