Abstract

Box-type substations generally have very strict installation environments during use. How should we install them at this time, and what are the requirements for installation and handling?

1. Strictly control the quality issues of box-type substations and electrical wires and cables, starting from procurement at the factory, enhancing design control, increasing review intensity, and specifying standard values for similar equipment quality and technical issues in the signed agreement to reduce disputes arising from different standards during receipt and inspection.

2. Manufacturers producing design switch boxes should pay close attention to the spacing of terminals. In product design, it is essential to ensure the spacing between AC and DC terminals, positive and negative terminals of the power supply, and different control circuits to avoid similar faults from the source.

3. During the installation process of the box-type substation, strengthen process control, improve the quality and safety awareness of installation personnel, understand electricity usage regulations, and strictly adhere to these regulations during construction.

4. Improve wiring and cable layout, layout and secondary circuit work, compete with colleagues in management, strengthen supervision, clarify responsibility systems, fully mobilize donors' enthusiasm and safety, ensure that cable markings comply with standards, and that bundling and cable sealing have systematic and safe process controls.

5. Strengthen equipment debugging during installation to ensure the stability and normal use of the equipment.

6. Strengthen on-site inspections, qualification checks, random checks, components, operational status, installation quality, constrain the construction quality of installation companies, and make them aware of the importance of installation quality.

7. Enhance the acceptance awareness and standards of installation companies for box-type substations so that they can promptly address safety hazards, resolve potential issues, and supervise project quality and progress.
