Abstract
The lighting distribution box is caused by what defects. Today, Guangdong Electric Power leads to a better understanding of the defects caused by the lighting distribution box. First, the environmental temperature affects low-voltage electrical appliances. The low-voltage electrical appliances in the lighting distribution box consist of fuses, contactors, residual current devices, capacitors, and measuring instruments.

These low-voltage electrical appliances are designed and manufactured according to GB1497 'Basic Standards for Low-Voltage Electrical Appliances', and corresponding regulations have been made for their normal working conditions: the upper limit of surrounding air temperature does not exceed 40°C; the average value of surrounding air temperature over 24 hours does not exceed 35°C; the lower limit of surrounding air temperature cannot be lower than -5°C or -25°C.
Second, product quality. Due to the short construction period required for the distribution cabinet and the urgent delivery time required by the lighting distribution box factory, there has been a phenomenon of lax requirements for product quality, resulting in some products developing defects shortly after being put into operation. For example, some models of contactors burned out shortly after the distribution box was put into operation due to a failure in the contactor's closing coil, rendering them unable to function normally.
Third, improper selection of electrical appliances in the lighting distribution box. Due to inappropriate selection of contactor capacity during manufacturing, contactors of the same capacity were installed for different outgoing circuits without considering the imbalance of three-phase loads. As a result, some outgoing contactors' current ratings were not increased based on normal selection models, leading to cases of contactor burnout during high-temperature summer operations.
