Abstract
The ring network cabinet is mainly used to complete dual-circuit or multi-circuit power supply systems, enhancing the stability of the power supply system. Currently, good ring network cabinets can ensure the automation of the distribution network and complete remote control.Cable branch boxThe number is also increasing, and it is expected to be integrated in the future.
Outdoor ring bodies have incoming and outgoing lines, and there are also cable junction boxes. The difference lies in the power supply method rather than the input/output method; the ring body can be dual-circuit. It ensures the stability of the power system, power supply, or multi-power supply systems. The cable branch box does not have the functionality of multi-channel or dual-channel power supply systems. In addition, the ring can achieve distribution automation and remote operation; currently, cable branch boxes do not have this function by default (except for outdoor rings with control switches).
The ring network cabinet is a general term for high-voltage switchgear that meets the transmission requirements of a ring network. The ring network cabinet is also called a cable junction box with a control switch. Ordinary cable junction boxes do not have control switches. The ring network power supply system has improved the uninterruptible power supply system to a certain extent, greatly promoting the intelligent configuration of the power grid.
1. Cable branching. The main cable from the socket to the load is usually treated as a socket and then as a socket again because choosing cables often wastes resources, as there are many narrow cables on a long line. Near the load, selecting a cable branch box divides the main cable into several small area cables, which connect to the load. This wiring method is commonly used in urban power supply systems for roads, streetlights, and small user power supply systems.
Cable junction boxes are usually used outdoors. With the development of new technologies, there are more and more cable junction boxes with control switches. Urban cable lines generally use dual-circuit power supply, so some people directly use branches with control switches called outdoor ring network cabinets. However, currently most ring network cabinets cannot achieve distribution automation, but manufacturers have released outdoor ring network cabinets that can achieve distribution automation. This blurs the distinction between cable branch boxes and ring bodies.
2. Cable transmission. On long-distance lines, the total length of cables cannot meet the needs of the line, so it is necessary to choose cable connectors or cable transition boxes. Generally speaking, intermediate joints in cables are used in short circuits; however, for the aforementioned 1000M cable work, based on experience, if there are many intermediate joints in the cable, it may be considered to use a cable junction box for transmission to ensure better safety.
The performance indicators of cable branch boxes and ring network cabinets differ; they should be selected according to certain standard processing techniques to ensure rich performance indicators and development trends, demonstrating excellent performance indicators in various aspects of power construction.
