The CYDKQ series high-voltage reactor starting cabinet is used in power systems below 12KV. It is suitable for power systems, electrified railways, metallurgy, chemical industry, petroleum, and other fire safety requirements, as well as urban network substations with electromagnetic interference requirements and limited installation space. When an AC asynchronous motor starts at rated voltage, the initial starting current is often many times greater than the rated current (generally 5-8 times). To reduce the starting current and avoid impacting the power grid, it is common to use a voltage reduction method to start the AC asynchronous motor. The common methods involve using reactors or autotransformers. The starting process of the AC motor is very short (usually a few seconds to two minutes), and after starting, the voltage-reducing starting reactor or autotransformer is disconnected. This product is designed based on the starting characteristics of high-voltage asynchronous motors, with common motor power ranging from 220-4800KW. The product complies with international standard IEC288-88 and national standard JB5346-98.
