The high-voltage cage motor liquid resistance starting cabinet uses a special Y-type aqueous solution as resistance. It introduces electrode plates into the specially designed high-voltage liquid resistance box, which are connected in series with the motor stator circuit. When the motor starts, a small power servo motor drives the electrode plates to move, changing their relative position, allowing the liquid resistance (connected in series with the stator circuit) to vary continuously from large to small, thus enabling smooth starting with low current.
The CYDYQ series high-voltage cage (synchronous) motor liquid resistance starting cabinet is used for medium and large high-voltage squirrel cage AC asynchronous motors or high-voltage synchronous motors that start asynchronously, for reducing voltage during startup. Motors started using this device have characteristics of low and constant starting current, gradually increasing torque during startup, no current or mechanical shocks during the starting process, minimal impact on the power grid, no electromagnetic interference, and serve as an ideal replacement for starting reactors and autotransformer starters. Compared to high-voltage variable frequency soft starters, it also offers significant advantages such as simplicity of operation, maintenance-free use, and no harmonic pollution.
