The high-voltage cage motor liquid resistor starter uses a special Y-quality aqueous solution as the resistor. In a specially designed high-voltage liquid resistor tank, plates are introduced as electrodes and connected in series with the motor stator circuit. When the motor starts, a low-power servo motor drives the plates to move, changing their relative positions. This causes the liquid resistance (in series with the stator circuit) to change smoothly and continuously from large to small, resulting in a low-current, smooth start.
The CYDYQ series high-voltage cage (synchronous) motor liquid resistor starter is used for starting large and medium-sized high-voltage squirrel-cage AC asynchronous motors or high-voltage synchronous motors with asynchronous starting. It is used for reduced-voltage starting. Motors started using this device have the soft-start characteristics of small and constant starting current and gradually increasing torque. There is no current surge or mechanical shock during starting, and the impact on the power grid is small during starting. There is no electromagnetic interference. It is an ideal replacement for starting reactors and autotransformer reduced-voltage starters. Compared with high-voltage frequency converter soft starters, it also has the obvious advantages of simple operation, maintenance-free, and no harmonic pollution.
